Troubled actress Heather Locklear landed in a psych ward over the weekend after threatening to shoot herself because she thought her fiancé was cheating on her, according to sources and a report Monday.
The former “Melrose Place” star was so manic and out of control at her Thousand Oaks, Calif., home that she allegedly went after her parents at one point as they attempted to calm her down.
“[Her father] tried to help her, but she, in turn, choked her mom and hit her dad,” a source told Radar Online of the Sunday incident.
According to the incident’s 911 tape, Locklear’s mother told the emergency operator that her 56-year-old daughter was suicidal and “looking for a gun to shoot herself.”
“She does not have access to any weapons,” the 911 dispatcher relays to responding cops, referring to Locklear. “She is agitated and violent.”
