Adult film actress Stormy Daniels is offering to return a $130,000 settlement to President Trump, after the actress claims that the-then-tv-personality paid her in a bid for her silence after an alleged affair. According to Daniels, she and the President engaged in sexual activity in May 2006 at a Lake Tahoe getaway and continued their meetings well into 2007. The supposed details of their nights in Nevada were disclosed on Todd “ Bubba the Love Sponge” Clem’s radio show in May 2007. Clem claims that Daniels did not announce President Trump’s identity on air but was prompted to write his name, as well as that of three other celebrities on paper to garner a reaction from Clem and his co-hosts. Clem confirmed on March 14th that the first name on Daniel’s list was Donald Trump, and that the information offered was characterized by her interactions with the president. A spokesperson from the White House stated that President Trump “ vehemently denies,” the affair and has not offered further comment.
While Trump refuses to acknowledge the allegations– not even taking to Twitter to defend his marriage– Daniels is pushing to oust even more intimate details about her supposed sexual arrangement with the president.
The Hush agreement, which included the specified amount of $130,000 was reportedly not signed or notarized by the President. In a recent statement, Daniels said she would like to return the funds as show of good faith, despite the fact that President Trump has yet to address the substantiality of the settlement or the Hush agreement.
