85 years ago today, the first drive-in theater opened in Camden, New Jersey. In the 1960’s some 4,000 outdoor screens operating across the U.S. with large parking areas where customers can view movies from the privacy and comfort of their cars. Today only a couple hundred theaters remain. (1933)
