A massive balloon depicting Donald Trump as a big baby has been launched in front of the Houses of Parliament.
The six-metre blow-up blimp, which features Trump clutching a phone while wearing a nappy, is flying above Parliament Square this morning during the US President’s visit to the UK.
A large crowd gathered to watch it take flight.
Tens of thousands are expected to protest against the US President’s visit, even though Mr Trump will not be in London – saying he does not feel welcome.
The controversial balloon was given the green light by the Greater London Authority, but people on social media are split on whether the stunt is a good idea.
The group that crowd-sourced the inflatable said, while Mr Trump will not see the blimp in person, they hoped it would come to the Twitter-loving president’s attention online.
In an interview with The Sun, Mr Trump referenced the inflatable as part of the reason he does not feel wanted in the capital, saying: “I guess when they put out blimps to make me feel unwelcome, no reason for me to go to London.”
