In a tweet Sunday afternoon, Donald Trump reiterated prior accusations at former President Barack Obama deliberately choosing to do “nothing” to stop Russian meddling during the 2016 election, because he believed Hillary Clinton would win and everything would be swept under the rug without the American people ever finding out.

“Why didn’t President Obama do something about the so-called Russian Meddling when he was told about it by the FBI before the Election? Because he thought Crooked Hillary was going to win, and he didn’t want to upset the apple cart! He was in charge, not me, and did nothing,” Trump tweeted.

A few days prior on “Fox & Friends” Trump called fired and disgraced former FBI director James Comey one of the “rotten apples” at the FBI. “The FBI is a fantastic institution, but some of the people at the top were rotten apples. James Comey was one of them,” he said. “I’ve done a great service for this country by getting rid of him, by firing him.”

Trump has waged war against those in federal law enforcement and the intelligence community who were involved in the corruption that has so far been uncovered during the 2016 presidential election committed by many in the Obama DOJ and FBI. His criticisms of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s phony Trump-Russia collusion witch hunt “investigation” have been stepped up to now include questions of how the witch hunt was started in the first place.
